LLL started the concept of Forest Certification in 2006 and was awarded the Controlled Wood(CW) & Chain of Custody(COC) certificates in 2011 by our Certification Body then known as Rainforest Alliance, now NEPCon OÜ. This initiative was in response to the global market demand that seeks to ensure that Timber producing companies demonstrate their compliance with international standards for responsible forestry and that their operations are sustainable in the long term.
